The history of our accountancy business dates back to the 1930's.

The practice was started by my uncle, Keith Eastwood, just prior to the 2nd World War. After the war Keith was joined in partnership by my father Jim Eastwood and became known as Eastwood & Eastwood.

The firm continued under this ownership until 1972 when they were joined in practice by Brian Bourke.  Soon after Keith Eastwood retired. Jim Eastwood and Brian Bourke operated in partnership from 1972 through to Jim Eastwood's death in 1981.

In 1982 I joined Brian Bourke in partnership and we continued in business together for 31 years.

In April 2009 Brian changed to part-time continuing to provide service to his clients as a consultant to the firm. Brian then fully retired from public practice accountancy effective April 2013.

From April 2013 I am now the sole Principal and Director of Eastwood Bourke Ltd.
